Where do your ideas come from?

I get that question every single time I give a talk or teach a class about writing.

I’d like to be able to tell you that a magically story fairy leaves one for me under my pillow at night if I’ve been a very good girl–but I think you’d know better.

Turns out, though, that you don’t really need a story fairy. You’re already full of ideas. You have characters and settings and situations all swirling around in your head–I know you do. The thing is, they need to be put into some sort of coherent order. Which character? Which setting? Which situation? Once you have that figured out, then you need a way of testing your idea to make sure it’s big enough to support a whole book.

I can help.

How To Develop a Story Idea is a free 5 day mini course that will teach you exactly the method I use to organize my idea’s basics, and then make sure it’s book worthy.

We’ll cover:

The 5 Key Plot Points

And then we’ll talk about putting it all together.

This course will give you the 5 Ws and an H of story ideas: Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How.
